About the Venue
Lisa Kushdilian, one of the owners of the beautiful micro venue property, speaks about the history and magical feel of the house and surrounding area:
The Simply sweet residence is a family home built in 1987 by Karin and Victor Kushdilian. They reside in the home to this day, and have raised two children, several dogs, a handful of ducks, rabbits, and various other pets. This 37 year old home has a story to tell from each rock in the yard to the walls within the home. Over the years the house has endured change and upgrades, but has always kept its warm charm and peaceful presence.
The Kushdilian's inspiration to open their property up for micro weddings and small events came from hosting their daughter's wedding there in 2011. Lisa states: "I got married at my parents home and it was all I dreamed of and more. With the peaceful setting, tranquil feel, and colorful backdrop including flowers and mountains, I thought others might get the same joy from it as I did.
